Annual Report
Humans and Nature Exploring Relationships
UNESCO MGIEP
Edition 15
It's time to rethink how we educate our children. In a world grappling with human-induced climate change, environmental degradation, and biodiversity loss, education must evolve. Yet, prevailing educational paradigms often prioritize economic growth, overlooking the transformative potential of learning to foster peace, prosperity, and environmental sustainability. UNESCO MGIEP's 2023 Annual Report underscores the urgency of integrating social and emotional learning, digital innovation, and global citizenship into curricula to empower learners as agents of change.
In this role, I closely supported the Communications Lead in developing the annual report—collaborating with the creative agency on layout, formatting, editing, and overall content strategy.
